What the map measures
The six views use the same country records as MilitaryDex rankings and profiles. Colors are recalculated for the selected measure and region, while the displayed value remains the underlying dataset value.
Explore where military resources are concentrated and switch between strength score, spending, personnel, air, land and naval inventory measures. Select any covered country to inspect its value and open the complete profile.

Darker-to-lighter green indicates a lower-to-higher value within the active view. Inventory and budget measures use a logarithmic scale so one very large country does not flatten every other difference.
The map is a comparative reference, not a forecast of readiness, alliance support, geography, logistics or conflict outcomes. A higher inventory or score does not guarantee operational advantage.
The basemap shows world country boundaries. Military values and interactive profiles are available for the 145 countries in the current MilitaryDex dataset; other areas remain marked as no data.
The map focuses on the selected region and recalculates its color scale against countries in that group. This makes regional differences visible without changing any country's underlying value.
